Meet the face of America in Finland, our very own Ambassador Bruce Oreck, one of President Barack Obama’s diplomatic appointees from 2009. Yes, ladies and gentleman, this is the man who President Obama chose to represent our country in Finland. Consider Oreck’s Christmas card Red Alert Politics’ gift to you this holiday season.

Imagine rummaging through your stack of Christmas cards filled with family portraits and holiday greetings and pulling this out of the mix. Well, Oreck may not take a stand on issues, but he does stand out in this photograph. (And yes, his first name really is Bruce. You can’t make this stuff up.)

According to ABC, Oreck posted this to his Facebook page Tuesday and sent copies to friends. This picture is only one of many photos of Oreck flexing taken at a photo shoot last month for the Finnish fitness magazine “ProBody”.  Apparently, our very own ambassador was Mr. December in Finland.

Oreck boasted on Facebook after he posted the picture, “I say 60 is the new 40. My wife says, in my case, 60 is the new 58. One way or the other, fitness is important.” And he can say that. Before he was selected by Obama for an ambassadorship, Oreck was a professional bodybuilder. He is also the son of David Oreck, the king of vacuum cleaners, and he was picked to represent the U.S. in Finland after he raised more than $500,000 in donations for Obama’s campaign in 2008. (That sounds familiar.)

The Washington Post verified with the embassy that this Christmas card is in fact not Photoshopped, but it was not the official Christmas card mailed by the embassy. Check out the official one below.

Will Oreck be on Obama’s naughty list once the President catches wind of the bodacious Christmas card floating around?
